Immigrants are welcome here.

“Kith & Kin” means friends and family: community. We have had the privilege to make art that connects with our community here in Milwaukee, and where performances end, action begins.

Right now, we see BBIPOC communities being targeted by ICE. The damage is widespread - immigrant families cannot go to their workplaces to provide for their loved ones, people are being abducted from their homes, and the lives BBIPOC immigrants and their allies are at risk. We believe in the welfare of immigrant and BBIPOC communities and stand in solidarity in the public’s call to abolish ICE.

It has been our mission to use our art to help people from differing backgrounds see their commonalities and come together. We feel that this is an important time to use that momentum, bridge divides, and come together as a community to uplift those who are most affected by the terror in their cities and homes. As such, we would like to highlight some ways to support our neighbors in Minnesota and here at home in Milwaukee:

Our friends at All In Productions are preparing benefit readings to raise money for organizations in both Minnesota and Wisconsin who are doing the work in the fight against ICE. Please consider following them and attending these readings, starting on February 19th - we are proud to be in community with AIP and are grateful for the example they set for theatre organizations in Milwaukee speaking on and taking action against injustice.

In addition, below are some additional ways you can get involved and show your support today:

SHARE resources. If you are not physically able to attend demonstrations or financially able to donate, please consider reaching out to your network.
